How do you prioritize self-care and maintaining a healthy work-life balance? what tips can you offer other busy women?

Monique White: Ensuring a healthy work-life balance and self- care are vital components of my overall well- being, particularly due to my engagements in both the TV industry and the professional world. To strike this balance, I've developed a few strategies that could benefit other busy women.

Firstly, establishing boundaries is crucial. I make a point to switch my phone to Do Not Disturb mode during my designated relaxation periods, allowing me to disconnect from work-related distractions and concentrate on self-care.

Additionally, I find solace in activities that bring me joy, such as indulging in a hot bath, watching my favorite TV shows, or enjoying a glass of wine. These moments of relaxation provide an escape from the demands of daily life and offer me a sense of peace. Equally important is the ability to say no when necessary. Recognizing my limits prevents me from overcommitting and ensures that I can dedicate quality time to my well-being without feeling overwhelmed by additional responsibilities.

Embracing these practices has enabled me to navigate my hectic schedule while prioritizing self-care. I encourage other busy women to evaluate their needs, establish boundaries, and make time for activities that bring them relaxation and joy. It's essential to remember that self-care is not selfish; it lays the foundation for a fulfilling and sustainable life.
