Becky Michelle: I'm a Life Coach, Author, and single mom of two wonderful teens. I'm probably one of the most positive people you will meet. I devote myself to helping others and living my life to the fullest. I have endured so many roadblocks and nearly lost my life in a toxic relationship. I was able to persevere through all my trials and reclaim my happiness.

WHAT WAS YOUR LIFE LIKE BEFORE THE INCIDENT?
Becky Michelle: I was unhappy with life and settled for mostly anything. I was bitter and depressed. The accident awakened something inside me that I thought was gone. I rededicated my life to Christ and decided to be the best mother to my children. I was worthy of happiness, and they deserved the best of me.

HOW HAS THIS CHANGED YOUR LIFE?
Becky Michelle: My life has changed for the better because I was able to overcome the fear of being a failure, alone, and a single mom.

WHAT ARE YOUR GREATEST STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES?
Becky Michelle: My greatest strengths include my ability to combat negativity, be optimistic in trying times, and have a forgiving heart. My weaknesses would probably be being too nice and seeing the good in people that don't deserve it, but I still wouldn't change that about myself.

WHAT IS THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE YOU FACED?
Becky Michelle: The biggest challenge I faced was losing everything and figuring things out with two children. I had several people turn their backs on me and wish bad on me. But, I stood strong and stayed faithful.

GIVE ME AN EXAMPLE OF WHEN YOU FAILED AT SOMETHING. HOW DID YOU REACT AND HOW DID YOU OVERCOME FAILURE?
Becky Michelle: I failed at several things, but my biggest failure is when I launched my first business. I spent my entire savings and didn't make a dime. I lost everything! Meanwhile, I had to start from scratch. It was hard after leaving an abusive marriage.
I lost my home, car, and several friends. I was devastated. As I was moving, the power went out in my building, so I fell to my knees and prayed. I asked God for strength, courage, and direction. I remained faithful and continued to persevere. I knew God had a plan for me, even at my lowest point. I worked hard, pulled all my resources together, and rebuilt my life on my terms piece by piece. I started another business and shortly after started two more.

WHO HAS INSPIRED YOU IN YOUR LIFE AND WHY?
Becky Michelle: I had so many inspirations in my life, but the biggest inspiration would have to be my mom. I say that because despite her rough life battling with her drug addiction. She found her way and continued to make positive strides. No matter what life throws at her.

AS A BUSINESS OWNER, WHAT ARE YOUR TOP THREE PRIORITIES?
Becky Michelle: My top three priorities consist of creating a safe place for my clients. A place to feel comfortable and vulnerable, space to learn and gain acceptance through progression, and ensure they are receiving quality service, so they are 100% satisfied.

IF YOU WERE TO START ANOTHER BUSINESS, WHAT MIGHT IT BE?
Becky Michelle: If I were to start another business, it would more than likely be a shelter for abused women and children.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU HAVE FOR A BEGINNING BUSINESS OWNER?
Becky Michelle: The best advice I could offer a business owner is to stay strong and be prepared. Several things go wrong when you're new to the business and still learning the industry. Get a mentor and shadow another company, if possible. You can gain limited experience. Also, interview five business leaders in your field. You can learn from their mistakes and receive advice about the industry.
