TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF

Rose Rozari Deal: That question is never an easy one to answer. I have always been fascinated by the business world. Everything is intertwined through enterprises, entertainment, and education. This has led to holding careers in many significant fields. I have been an elderly caregiver, medical assistant, home health aide, restaurant GM, financial compliance specialist, special education assistant, librarian, and life coach. You will learn how to give more than you receive with each profession. And this has transcended into every aspect of my life.

I have now taken the same approach to the music industry. I see myself as not only an artist, clothing model, radio personality, or marketing and promotions expert. But more of a humanitarian, I want to leave a legacy for my children and grandchildren!

So, Educate2BGreat is a GiveBack program that I am heading through ACSHOZZ MUSIC GROUP to do just that. We are in the process of solidifying sponsors to take the program throughout the Nation. It is dedicated to showing up, being available, and never giving up on any child's dream in the industry.

Currently, we have children in Atlantic City School District in Atlantic City, NJ, and CyFair ISD in Cypress, TX. I am also affiliated with HOUSE KALENZ CLOTHING COMPANY, based out of Arizona. As a clothing model, I can partner with them in doing their part for the community by donating $1 to The Sentencing Project. They are a non-profit company whose donations support The Sentencing Task as we work for a practical criminal justice system.

WHAT WOULD YOU DO DIFFERENTLY IF YOU WERE STARTING IN YOUR INDUSTRY NOW?

Rose Rozari Deal: I believe everything happens for a reason. The multiple possibilities came with every position. Each one has created and molded me into the Businesswoman I am today. To go back and do anything different would take away from the Authenticity each part of my journey has brought to my character.

WHAT WOULD YOU SAY IS THE #1 KEY TO SUCCESS IN YOUR BUSINESS?

Rose Rozari Deal: To know the losses are just lessons, and the gains are more blessings! It ALWAYS gets greater later! Never, ever forget where you started or who has helped mold, mature, and encouraged you along the way. Including yourself!

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL DAY IN YOUR WEEK LOOK LIKE?

Rose Rozari Deal: A typical day for Rozari begins as a wife or mom. I begin networking, marketing, and branding once those duties have settled. I am supplied with opportunities and optimism from ACSHOZZ and HOUSE KALENZ. Wherever I position my name, I am supported by great causes.

WHAT IS UNIQUE ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS?

Rose Rozari Deal: The unique features of my business ACSHOZZ MUSIC GROUP and my affiliated business House Kalenz Clothing is that they were both start-ups by determined minority men. It just so happens that I am a minority woman who is not afraid to start from the ground up or take a chance for the reward.

ACSHOZZ CORPORATIONS has allowed me to take those chances and soar for the last five years. We have grown from workers to partners. They have displayed that a woman of color can grow in a predominantly male industry. The founder and CEO, Darryl Deal, has provided that balance and growth to the ACSHOZZ Family. Our partnership has allowed my career to see new heights and embark on my favorite thing to do, Giving back! Thus, Educate2BGreat has finally been able to be established. In an industry where so many minority women were dulled, ACHSOZZ has allowed me to Shine.

IS THERE AN ACHIEVEMENT OR CONTRIBUTION THAT YOU ARE MOST PROUD OF?

Rose Rozari Deal: I have two achievements I am most proud of, and the same is true that I am most humbled by both as well. That is becoming a mother and being recognized in this issue of Empowering Women. There is one thing when I am acknowledging the individual but to acknowledge is most Humbling. However, it has allowed me to reflect on who I was, who I am, and whom I want to become. And they are all the same! Authentically Me!

WHAT KEEPS YOU GOING WHEN THINGS GET TOUGH IN YOUR BUSINESS?

Rose Rozari Deal: What keeps me going when things get tough in my business, is, knowing there is light at the end of the tunnel. Blogging is a passion, and it is the reason I started.

IS THERE ANY ADVICE YOU WOULD GIVE TO A PERSON WHO IS STARTING IN YOUR CHOSEN CAREER?

Rose Rozari Deal: Soak up as much as you can along the way. Apply what's needed when needed. Not everything is for everyone. Grow into the best version of yourself.
